BACKGROUND CHECKS AND ACCREDITATIONS.

Disclaimer: As usual, what is written below is my own personal opinion, and may vary from yours. It doesn’t mean to say that either is correct or incorrect, that’s what makes us all Humans.

I’d like to begin by acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the land on which we meet today. I would also like to pay my respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.

In my opinion, these are great, as it proves the person can be trusted with the assignment, whether it’s a job, working close to or with vulnerable people, or even just safety elements for others.

In my view, the main reason many of these were established is because others have broken the law.

I, for one, would not do anything to hurt my checks and/or accreditations, because it would mean either a criminal record, or at the very least unemployment again.

Here in Australia, most employers require Job Applicants to provide a recent Clear Police Check, and depending on the position, accreditations, and sometimes, depending on the employer, pass a Fingerprint check, something my current employer requires.

Anyone who baulks at the idea of background checks, and further checks, has something to hide and in my opinion, is not worth employing.

However, this depends on the position, and also why the person is apprehensive.

Once MCC established, I will still talk with each applicant privately, although video and audio recordings too, with the applicant knowing about the recordings. I will not interview those who refuse to allow recordings, as I will not be comfortable employing them, unless they advise why they don’t want to be recorded.

FYI: These recordings will remain private and confidential and will only be for my records. Each person involved will be entitled to a copy too.

I believe in everyone being employable, despite their past.

Do You?

We all make mistakes, however, we can and should, learn from them.

People in responsible positions, need to be transparent, and show they have passed the required checks and have obtained the required accreditations too.

Everyone needs to be:

SAFETY CONCIOUS with almost everything we do

My goal is to raise enough funds to finally Establish MCC. Seeking 250,000 winners to invest $25 AUD each. I also plan to employ humans suffering from illness & disease, so they have flexibility for appointments. MCC will observe COVID safe practices long after they have been discontinued by others. All Team Members will be required to wear PPE when in the Production area. I hope to have a custom Mobile Candle Making Unit constructed so we can travel Australia, making candles on site for our VIC's. Shareholders/PCCM's will be eligible to spend upto 14 days/nights travelling with us Shareholders will share 80% of Annual After Tax profit, paid early November each year, hopefully starting once we have been operating for a full Australian Financial Year.
