PERFECTIONISM.

Growing up & even as an adult, I was constantly told by my father to do everything perfectly, as no one accepts anything less than perfect.

Granted, some people expect perfection.

I’ve had cleaning customers who have had very high expectations, & when my cleans are not as high as they expect, will let me know.

FYI: The agency I used to contract for, never allowed a pre-meet with customers, therefore we do not know what the house looks like, nor the cleaning products or equipment available, until we arrive for the 1st, sometimes only, clean. I would advise each customer, some would accept & buy items suggested, others would either complain about the clean, then cancel, or just cancel.

Currently, I’m training to work as a Contact Centre Officer, which many people feel is a very easy job, some are, however, many require training because of the complexities of the job. I’m not allowed to reveal exactly who the client is as I have signed a confidentiality agreement. All I can say, is we assist those in need.

Anyway, I digress.

Since my father passed away, I have started realising, I don’t need to do everything perfectly, despite what others say.

Although, I still put high expectational pressure on myself, thankfully with support from my current employer & trainers, I’m now slowly realising, I’m not perfect & it’s ok to not be perfect in everything I do, because:

I’M HUMAN, JUST LIKE EVERY WINNER READING THIS.

My advice to everyone:

Never put high expectations on yourself, have reasonable expectations though.

As I said, we are all Human, & we all make mistakes, but there are many people who expect more than we can deliver.

Also, listen to what others say, if Positive & Helpful, something I’m now doing & accepting, slowly, but I am doing.

I also suggest surrounding yourself with Supportive, Positive Winners.

Those who are negative are Toxic, therefore should be kicked out of your life.
